Description

Not everyone would consider being in two places at once a curse. Actually it would be any teenager’s dream.

For most normal seventeen-year-old guys, ricocheting to another time or place and leaving a hologram of himself behind to take a test, serve a suspension, or trick the parents, only to return when the deed is done, would be an amazingly cool gig. For Cade Steele, though, life is about wishing for and trying to maintain an ordinary high school profile, not drawing attention to those forbidden abilities that must stay hidden. But how is that possible when the only other two teenage rebounders are completely out of control?

For one, he has the responsibility of corralling his cousin Dawson, who openly ricochets to serve his own agenda and whose antics are borderline psychotic at best. Then there’s his self-proclaimed duty to protect Skyler, a mysterious newbie to the world of rebounding and identical reflections, who also happens to be the hot new girl in school, the same girl who shocks, attracts, and quite honestly, scares him. Add to that saving the world from a disgruntled ex-federal agent who takes crazy to a whole new level in his plot to alter the future, and Cade discovers an entirely new set of problems.

He has to decide. Does he succumb to his desire for an average, run-of-the-mill existence, or does he risk everything and embrace the very ricocheting skills he once thought of as a curse?

Teenagers with the capacity to bounce around in time and space can only mean one thing. One thing with great potential and even greater consequences – temptation.
